Tall header on pipe setup.
« on: September 13, 2008, 02:56:47 PM »
Hi Guys,

Does having a 1.5" tall header vs the normal .5" hight make a any difference
when setting up the engine with the pipe chart?

Engine is a Ro-Jett 40.

Jerry,

The convention for measuring the exhaust system is to measure from the glow plug to the first baffle in the pipe.
The measurement is taken along the path that the exhaust travels, so the "drop" should be included in the measurement.

Cheers,
Jim
