Title: Stalker .51 rear exhaust engine
Post by: hoythawkins on January 19, 2007, 12:48:14 AM
I have one mounted in my Warhawk and it is a hoss.  I would like to hear from others who are using this engine.

Mine is swinging a Graupner 13 X 5 prop.  Do I have it over loaded????

Hello all.
Donīt have the Stalker 51, but like my 46 likes more 11x6 than 12x6, I could imagine yours could be happier with 12x 5-6, at least will worth to give it a try.
The ground RPM might be between 8.200 and 9.000, on a fast 4 stroking or a wet 2 cycle.
Hope it helps.
Please let us know the result of the experience!!!
Regards.

Hello, I had a Stalker 51RE in a scaled down Avanti, around 55 OZ. The engine ran flawlessly with a 12-6 prop, and pulled the plane easily. Great Engines!

     Jim's got it right 12-6, or maybe 11 1/2-6.
