The  ST 56  runs  a  lot  like the ST 60 and  ST  46, many have  used it,
I saw a  Magnum in one  that ran  very well

I was using several ST/56's a lot 12 years ago. Randy is correct that they run pretty much like the ST/60. Some versions have a small amount of sub port induction at the left side of the exhaust. On other 56's the sleeve covers this spot. Trying to run a stub muffler on the ones with the sub induction will give a eratic run.Use a tube muffler and the problem will go away. Also some 56.s have a litter faster timing but they sure work well in a SV-11.
