Can St51 be converted with manifold to rear exhaust to be used in the Sv11 arc if so who has the manifold?

Awhile back, I asked Randy if he had a side/rear header for the Magnum XL .53/XLS .52. His reply was that the only side/rear header he has is the one that fits the Magnum XLS .36 and OS .35/.46 FP/LA series. That would also fit the Fox .35 Stunt, if anyone cares... LL~ Steve

Karl Mueller from Canada has made headers fo rc for years and he does make side to rear, and does great work. His email is kgmueller@rogers.com All you have to do is tell him what you want. It took about 5 weeks for my last header, all are custom made.

"Just Engines" in England also has somebody making side/rear headers for them. I have seen one in person...not tucked in as close as I'd like.  I would personally want to send a crankcase with a mock-up of what I want. See their website for details.  http://www.justengines.unseen.org/acatalog/Custom_Manifold_Examples.html

Windy used a side to rear header on some ST G.51s for pipe use back when they first came out.  Dave Midgely, too.  Unfortunately, I cannot remember where he got them, it was almost 20 years ago.

I flew my original SV 11 with the ST G.51 and just ran the exhaust out the side with a tongue muffler.  One of the best planes I ever had. ;D
