Hello All:
Will the parts for the .51 drop into a .49 like the p&c to get a .49 running again?
I have a .49 that is a bit tired and my fiend has a .51 that is a great running engine. Perhaps a Brian Gardner .51 p&c will bring my .49 back to life.
In the past, I have seen engines that were different sizes that had the piston, sleeve, and head changed to go from .15 to .23 and the OS .30 to .35 used the same crankcase for both sizes with a few different parts. Perhaps the ST .49 would not need much to increase the size to a .51.
Any thoughts or comments concerning this swap?

You would maybe need to measure the parts, and have the two in your hands to see if they would fit, If you like , and you have no 51 parts, send the 49 to me and I will check it for you, I have all the parts for 51s here, including the ABC P/S

Hi frank you should let us know what you find about the motor, and its interchangeability with the 51
