Has anyone experimented with Gasoline engines for Stunt or Sport? No, I don't mean Relics!
These ignition engines keep getting smaller with better power to weight. Surely you could run a "Gas" venturi?
The fuel cost alone would be reason enough to try it - 1 gallon of Premium (non-Ethanol) and your favorite weedwacker oil!

It has a problem. the engine weighs 15.3 oz, the ignition weighs 3.40 oz and the muffler is 3.40 oz. At 23 oz total you have an unrealistic engine for any known stunt model. Doubt that it would even be useful for a short nosed C/L scale model.
Control line simply doesn't build models of enough mass to require this engine.

 Most control-line modelers would run a tongue style muffler, another ounce saved with a venturi instead of the big carb. and the tank capacity would be about half that of glow fuel. <19 ozs. all-up weight ?

How would it compare to an Electric powerplant of comparable size- Motor, ESC & Battery ?
