Anyone know what number Boca Bearings kit are a replacement for the factory bearings in ST-46 engines? A search yielded no results. Thanks in advance. 8)

I think that all G21 (G21/.29, G21/.35, G21/.40, G21/.46) series engines are the same but Randy would likely know. Given my assumption is right, it's ENK-079xx
What I would do instead (and have) is take the bearings out, take it to an industrial bearing supply store, hand it to them and say give me a new one. Last time I did that (at King Bearing in Mountain View, CA) the kid looked at it, walked straight to it, straight back, and said "$7" in the space of maybe 15 seconds.

Bear in mind I am not certain!

Got it, I will confirm the ## before I order but is sounds right. Same as the ST-60(Old style) bearings also fitting the V-51 and V-56 which also share the same case. 8)

No they are not the same, only the front bearing is the same, but it will be best to not use what was stock supplied by ST, for the front use a 607-2RS and remove one of the rubber seals
The rear is smaller than the ST 51 56 60, it is better if you use a phenolic race bearing for the rear.
I have these in stock also

Pete,
According to my "Boca Bearing Catalogue" to number you are looking for is; ENK-79
I'd call them up and ask them what # they have. As Randy says the 51-60 is ENK-44.
Good luck, see you Sunday, Jerry

Hi Brett That is correct, and the front bearing is also the same in the ST 51 56 60. The rear is much larger
It was pretty interesting that ST could bore and stroke the G21-29 out all the way to 46 (then I took it out to 49 and 55) That engine served so many, and varied different modeling events, speed, combat, RC boat racing, RC sport, CL Aerobatics, and more.

Thanks all for the good info. I will send a PM to add the 46 bearing set to my current Aero Products order. I got into stunt after the heyday of the ST-46 but sure like running them now. 8)

Just like some wacky guy put a 36, 40, 51 61 and 65 into the same case? The G21/46 looked stretched and stuffed in every possible way into the regular case just like the PA61/65. The die used to be the hardest/most expensive part, makes sense it would be reused to the extent possible.

The G-21 case was about at its limit, but the ST G 40 and Como 40 had much more room, I took the to 59 , 64, 71, I still have a new 65 that is in a Como 40 case and has never been run But Scott Bair had them even bigger, He also made a ST V 60 into a .88 :-) Good engines that were very light for the size.

I used to run G 21 35 in combat. We would use 607-Z for the front, shield one side. No rubber seals.
