Title: ST.40 C/L???
Post by: Jerry Bohn on May 31, 2007, 01:24:20 PM
A R/C friend told me he has heard from his R/C flying friends that the ST.40 makes a good C/L engine. Friends also fly C/L.
Super Tigre web site only shows .34 and .51 C/L engines.
I know about the ST.51C/L.
Any info out their about the ST.34C/L and possiblely new .40 C/L engine?
Could they be talking about a modified ST.40 R/C engine?

Jerry, I have a GS40 that I converted to CL after running it in RC planes for some time.  It seems to be very good; tons of power.  It won't shift from 4 to 2, but runs real steady at a wet 2.  It needs a tongue muffler that will attach directly to the engine, in order to eliminate that stupid and heavy ST exhaust set up.  It's a nice engine for $50 plus the cost of the venturi, NVA, and tongue muffler.   Glen
