I am curious about the size of a Veco .19 is it a lot smaller than a .35 , I have a McCoy .19 and was wondering if it was about the same size externally Thanks T.J.

Hi TJ,
The size of the Veco BB 19 is very close to the McCoy .19. I can't swear that they ill fit the same mounting holes, but overall size is close. The plain bearing Veco .19 is basically the same overall size as the BB version.

They are pretty close, and you'll notice a difference in front overhang and needle valve location.
I did a check several years ago, and a whole lot of engines in the .19 to .40 range have close to the same mount hole spacing. There are differences in width, and both front and rear overhang, but a "generous" bolt hole clearance in the motor mounts will fit (sloppily) lots of engines...

I am thinking about a Flite streak ARF and powering it with the Veco .19 I am so busy lately that I am thinking about going the ARF route so I can at least get a little flite time in Living in a tiny apartment with no place to build doesn't help either. Thanks T.J.

I also live in a tiny apartment and have had only minor difficulties, so it can be done. As long as you have a high tolerance for disarray, and you live alone.
Flite Streak/Veco 19bb is a great combination. Run an APC 9-4 or 10-4 to start.

I picked up an R/C engine with an Enya muffler on Ebay real cheap and it looks very promising lots of castor goo on it but excellent compression . I read the reviews above from Annette and saw that the needle valve was the same for R/C and C/L and low and behold it was , plus I picked up an N.O.S. venturi at a swap meet yesterday for 8 bucks and a old flite streak kit for 35 bucks. The Enya muffler is new and would not work with the throttle valve installed but it fits fine with it removed , it's nice to get lucky once in a while! T.J.
