I have one of these in the box and was wondering if any one has used one of them and can tell me anything about it. It looks to be from Lew woolard.

I ran one for a few years. Good motor. Unlike the stock Fox 40 it will run a 4/2/4 break. Use 11/5 or 11/6 prop, 10/22% fuel. More castor is OK, especially until it breaks in completely. Plan on 4.5 ounces for the pattern. 8)

Ok thanks, I'll have to order me some of them. Don't think I have any 11x5 or 6 prop's.
Looking at putting this in an brodak nobler that i have frame up.

Lack of power will not be problem with that set-up. Mine was in a 54 ounce, 610" wing area Dixon Stylus. It had power to spare. What may be an issue is fuel capacity...try for a 4.5 ounce tank, may be tight on a Nobler, and nose heaviness...try and round up a tongue muffler that will fit. Naturally do some bench running before first flight. FWIW: My favorite engine for a Nobler is an OS 35S. Light, very fuel efficient. Recommend over the Fox 40 if you have one. 8)
