Would anyone one know what would be a baseline set-up for a Woolard Fox 40? i.e. Fuel (all castor or 1/2 and 1/2) and prop. It will flown on a modified Twister. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

I've been running Lew's Silver Fox 40's off and on for many years. I use powermaster GMA 10/22 w/ one ounce or Randy Smith's Aero Oil added. Current prop I like is the RSM 11 x 6. You could use that as a starting point. RPM will probably be in the high 8000s, they will run a 4-2-4 break. Don't be afraid to experiment but they run more like a ST-46 than a stock Fox 40...that's a good thing. 8)

Thanks Pete!
In the fuel all castor or mixed with some synthetic. I have some of Randy's Aero Oil to add. Glad to hear they run real strong!

I have always used the standard GMA 1/2 castor, 1/2 synthetic in my Silver Foxes. I have never found that they require an all castor diet. Other's experiences may differ. 8)
