Saito's latest add in MA for the new c/l engines shows that the 62 is .8oz lighter than the 56. Do the 56 & 62 share the same case/cylinder?

Probably a typo, the 62 is 0.2 ounces heavier than the 56 (this is in RC dress without muffler on a digital scale)and as far as I can tell they share the same case. The 56 UHP manifold fits the 62 perfectly.
If it isn't a typo could be they are supplying the new style muffler with the 56 and the old style with the 62, this would make the 0.8 oz difference about right.
Also could be Saito is trying to steer everyone away from the 56 in favor of the 62. I would suspect we will see the 56 discontinued before long.

The add says:
56 15.5 oz
62 14.7 oz
both without muffler..

I have a new C/L Saito 62 sitting here . On my scale it is 438 grams or 15 3/8 oz. I don't have the 56. This is the C/L version not an R/C converted to C/L

Hi!
There was a typo in the ad. The 62CL does indeed weigh 14.7 oz, w/o muffler on our scale in R&D. The 56CL weighs 14.5 oz, not 15.5 oz. Sorry for the confusion...

Allan,
No, the cases are indeed different, but the mounting dimensions, intake manifold, carb, etc are all the same.
