Title: Saito carb clearance on profile?

I'm getting ready to mount a Saito 30 on a Ringmaster and I noticed there is a gap of only about 1/4" between the fuselage side and the carb opening. Is that enough or do I need to relieve the fuse side to give more room for air to get into the carb?

Guys - the picture I posted is my OS .40 on the profile.

BUT, I've run the SAITO .30 on a number of profiles and 1/4 inch clearance should be plenty for breathing.
I usually drill a 1/4" hole through the fuselage such that I can prime the carb from the inboard side.

On the larger engines, you can usually put your smallest finger over the venturi and choke it.

It'll be fine as is. y1 (air is really small, it can get into, and through, incredibly small places. ;))
