I too had one of the little metal fuel filters. We were having engine setting problems. It ran great before. So out come the syringes and pressure testing at the field. Tank, lines and spray bar okay. Noticed a little drop of fuel at the filter. A small wrench and pliers fixed the problem. Every was back to normal. Even the little plastic filters will leak. I take them apart and put s smear of silicone glue on the male part.
