Royal 40 ?
« on: September 01, 2010, 01:25:30 AM »
Hi guys from a sunny Charente in S.W.France.

Can I ask if anyone has any experience of the Royal 40 please ?

I am asking because one has shown up on E-Bay in the U.K.

What is odd is that it has a C/L Venturi and NVA.

So , is this any good for stunt please ? Perhaps the low pitch/high RPM route ? Too heavy perhaps ?

Thanks for any contributions ,

Robin [ ex-pat Brit in the Charente full of ex-pat Brits ].

I setup several 100s of these and the Royal 45 for C\L stunt, they worked very well, they were made by Thunder Tiger and were  OS FSR type clones. I still have one of each here and some parts, The 45 is the best one, but they both can work well
There was also a Magnum 40 and 45 FSR clone that was the same motor

we ran a 12 x 4.5 3 blade on the 45 and  a 12 x 4.25 2 blade on the  40
