My wife won a Royal 28 engine at our Oct contest and I want to gather some info, such as prop size, plug, fuel and anything else that some of you guy's can suggest on running it.
Thanks a lot, oh what Models would be good to build for it also...

A Flite Streak makes a pretty good engine test bed. It will fly (not well) with a very anemic 19 and if the engine turns out to be a screamer it will speed up a lot but still be stable and controllable. A fun airplane.

Any of the Brodak warbirds would be good. I think the Mauler is on sale.

Any suggestions on running it? Sorta like a .25 engine, 9x4 or such? Again thanks...

I would try running it like an LA or FP.25 in any airplane that you have rad on here that people us those engines on. Get a Ringmaster for it. Everyone needs a Ringmaster so you can join in on the Brotherhood of the Ring Fly -A-Thon each year! Try anything from a a 9-4, 9-5 to 2 10-4. I generally use a 10-4 on my .25's spun up to the 10,000 RPM range. Same with the fuel, unless it's an old iron engine. I have two Royal .25 NIB put away I need to get out and play with some day. They have carbs on them but I'm hoping OS stuff fits them.
Type at you later,
