What is the correct bearing  I want to get away from the steel or brass ball keeper

   It's an oddball size, unique to OS, but now available from Boca Bearings. I am also sure Randy has some.

    I always use the cheapest variety, even the low-end bearings are much better than the stock units (although the stock bearings are generally OK for a very very long time).  But you can certainly get more expensive bearings for it, $90 for a bearing set on a $125 engine - even if it is the best-ever $125 engine - it a bit much for my blood. I am both an engineer and a stunt flier, so I can't really help being cheap...

I have the correct  real bearing for it, many people have got the almost right bearing  but they were 1mm too thin
Mine are  hi speed  phenolic cage  bearings, I also have  sealed  fronts for the  VF as well as many other parts
