Title: RAndy S. USA-1 PA 51 set up.
Post by: Bill Little on March 24, 2006, 09:41:13 PM
Hi Randy,
What would be your suggestions on the initial set up for a PA 51 in a 54-55 oz. USA-1?
Which header muffler would I need?  I think there are two listed. (??)
Thanks

Hi Bill

A 1.25 inch rise header muffler  should work fine. the ship is plenty deep in the  front  so I see no proble.
Billy has talked about the exact same  setup

Bill,

While not really equivelent, the PA 40 Merlin I'm using has a header muffler I made. I had ordered one from Randy S. for it, but ended up pirating that unit for another project and had to make another one for the Cobra. The setup is really very good, though I think I went a bit shorter on the header length than Randy S. recommends. Still, a very nice run.
