What do you use to clean up old Foxes..I dont want to ruin it?.. BOB

Crock pot and antifreeze. Do search on these 2 items and you will find many web pages. here is one.

I've found this works great on the shiny case Foxes. When I did a matte finished one though it darkened the case somewhat.

This happens every time someone asks this question. There are two (2) types of anti-freeze, make D#$@ sure you get the one that is compatable with aluminum, please don't ask me how I know. If in doubt when buying, ask someone. It is made specifically for aluminum radiators.

This is true! However since there are an abundance of radiators these days with aluminum cores most brands are compatible so finding this type is not at all a problem . Still, do check to see that you are getting the right formula!

Bob, Dawn power dissolver work real well for me, on the shiny case but will discolor matte. How ever I do use on matte case's, just don't leave it soak very long.

Try laquer thinner and a toothbrush before you do the high tech treatments.
