propellers
« on: September 01, 2022, 11:12:42 AM »
I was wondering who is selling props that are good. My go-to was Vess and I could get them local, but, apparently they are not replenishing any stock of our caliber. Looking for 11-6, 11-5, 12-5,12-6 ect. Thanks

I just visited the Brodak store.
They have a very large assortment.

Hobby King has lots of props, you can go directly to the APC web site.

If you want wood, I have had good results with Xoar props. Available from a lot of on line sources and several eBay sellers. Not really cheap, but nicely finished and all of the ones I have purchased checked out as balanced right out of the package. Master Airscrew has a line of wood props but the last ones I saw had really thick hubs, and I haven't flown any of them. RSM has their props in a limited selection of sizes.. And as mentioned, Brodak makes their own props and took over the B,Y&O line several years ago.
  Type at you later,

Jim,
You can also get RMS props (https://www.rsmdistribution.com/index.php), APC props (https://www.apcprop.com/) for IC or electric, also Master Airscrew (https://www.masterairscrew.com/via) mail order.

Best,   DennisT

I get most of my props from Brodak. For wood, I like their BYO props. Nicely made. Also, the BYO hub is smaller and usually fits in some of my Dubro spinners, where an APC might not without trimming the spinner.
