That would be as good a place to start as any. I would bolt up a 10-4 prop and do the 2 minute routine, and after a dozen cycles or see see how it runs with a 11-4 and reacts to the fuel line pinch test. The Tower .40 is a true ABC I believe and is a pretty long lasting engine. A local guy had one in a Tucker Special and after several seasons of running, he had an issue where the main bearing varnished up and caused some issue. The only time I have ever heard of any one having a problem with a Tower.40 We took it apart, cleaned up the shaft and bearing and all was well.
