I have a 25Vf , Randy pipe and a MAC's header,I seem to remember reading that you leave the header the full length and
cut the pipe? As the header can handle the heat better is this correct still.
Also chasing a source of silicon tubing for the pipe it would need to 15mm ID, (16mm or 5/8" is not a tight fit.)
Thanks

HI Paul,
Randy should have the silicon connector and a range to set the pipe initially. We used to cut the header, it's cheaper, but the pipe doesn't like the heat if the header gets too short.

Cut the pipe NOT the header, and if 5/8 is not really tight, don't worry it will be when you use the zip ties to cinch it down, we use 2 zip ties on either side

Hopefully I will be dealing with the same set up later this year. An OS .25VF in an existing Ares. I hope to do Billy's "operation". ;D
