Hi all -
I got these ABC engines in a "grab box" of mostly RC car stuff and, not being familiar with either brand, hope someone can point me to a source for parts.........
if they're worth the trouble.
The Leo's used but the piston still has top pinch so I suspect it's OK; needs a prop driver and nut.
The Ofna appears new (except for a bit of black paint loss here and there) and unmounted; it's missing the head and possibly shim/gasket.
Anyone familiar with them?
TNX.

You might check with "Just Engines" in England for the Leo parts...if JE is still in business. Otherwise, see if OS parts will fit. I believe they're made in either Taiwan or PRC...should say on the case.
The Ofna parts should be available from your local R/C car shop or Tower Hobby or other online source for R/C car parts. H^^ Steve

Hi Steve -
J E doesn't sell Leo now and lists no parts for them.
This Ofna is likely an older series - crankcase doesn't look like the current car versions - but haven't found a parts source for the new ones either.
May be a better idea to sell them as RC car parts anyhoo.

Another possibility -
I measured the Leo .15 crankshaft at the prop driver seat and it's .305 & .285 on the flat - way smaller than OS.
Anyone willing to measure your .10 - .19 shafts to see if any match?
Tnx.

Terry.
It's possible that the Ofna is a car engine and originally had a heat sink head. You'd probably need to have a replacement made for Aeroplane use. Or else find something with matching bore and fit that, although there may still be some machining involved.
Good luck

I suspect you're right Greg, as all reference I found to Ofna is car-related.
However, I have both heads for the Leo, so it's only issue is a prop driver - I hope someone can match the dimensions to a replacement.
