Hi Scott

No they are the same motor ,timing, et all  . just use the same size venturie and shims and it will run identical as long as they are the same series, If you have one with a differant head , you will need the appropriate shims

Thanks Randy. I have a series of shims from you. Do I add to the case side or the head side IF I NEED TO?

Yes I always have, there are 2 types, Header mufflers, and slide on tube mufflers, these are both cnc lite weight products.
There is a picture of both on my web site on the new product page

The lite weight cnc slide on tube for RE engines will slide on and seal to any standard 3/4 inch header
