Title: PA 51 RE
Post by: Paul Allen on December 27, 2020, 01:56:13 AM
Randy
         I have a Bolly 3 B 12 x 4.25 prop, cut down to 11"
would that be enough prop for a PA 51 RE /rear muffler set up?
Thanks
Paul

Paul   the 11x4.25 3blade may be a little small that is more for a 40.
 a 12x4.25 3 blade or 12.25 x 4.25  2 blade  is a good starting point
for the 51

Yes, however , It will turn that prop easy, many use the same prop at 11.5 and  12 inches

I like a 12-4 3 blade Brian Eather UNDERCAMBERED prop on my PA .51 (when flying on pavement), with the tips pitched up some.   y1 Steve
