OK, so I've started a new plane. About 630 square inches and should come in around 50 oz or thereabouts. I have a Tom Lay reworked OS46VF I'm thinking about for it and also a ROJett .65RE. They are within a 1/4oz or so of each orther for weight so that isn't an issue. Size is similar enough that, with the relatively roomy cowl, either would fit without problems. Prop clearance could be an issue, I guess, but since I'm just starting the plane, I can adapt. I know the ROJett has more giddy-up, but the OS is a very nice running engine with gobs of power. I'm not concerned about the amount of power either way as far as being able to power the plane. Either will do just fine. I did have some problems with the ROJett previously cutting out on hard corners, but I seemed to have remedied that.
Any thoughts?
