Title: OS Muffler Nipple Size?

Anyone know what size tap and die I need to fit an OS muffler pressure nipple to a muffler?

It will be metric and have no idea.. Dubro and Fox both make pressure nipples that are 4-40 and 6-32, much easier to find taps for.

Thanks Bob.  In my first post, I meant to say "Tap & drill" size for the OS nipple.  I have several so thought I would use one of them.  I have a 4-40 tap & drill so I'll try to find a Fox nipple and use that.

Only other suggestion is you might take it to an ACE hardware store and try to match the thread.. At least if you can match it you will be able to figure out what size tap and drill you need.
