Title: OS Max-s Muffler?
Post by: Jerry Reider on November 11, 2009, 02:46:52 PM
Does anyone know of a source for mufflers for the OS Max-s 35?  I have 3 of them and I wouldn't mind having muflers for them.

You can get these mufflers from Leonard Neumann, Scott Dinger, Scott Riese and from some other folk. Most will drill the mounting holes in the case for you as well, for a small extra fee.

Randy carries these also. Check his store below. Big Art made by far (IMHO) the prettiest tube for these...

Other sources: RSM Distribution, Virginia Hobbysport, Northcoast Hobbies...all sell tongue and tube type mufflers for the OS 35-s.  Google any of these, and you'll have your info. All good folks to deal with!

I got real lucky and found a Max-s muffler in Lebanon, PA at the R/C flea market for $8.  I'm thinking that I may switch my Max-s's over to 35 FP's.  I have 3 Max-s's and they all seem to stumble on outside loops or when inverted after 3/4 of the fuel is used up.  I have different tank set ups on each one and no matter what I change they all do it.  One has a clunk tank and the other two have metal tanks.
