Hi All.
Iīve been able (My friend Quique did it) to modify an OS 35s in order to attach a standard muffler screwed in typical manner. The old (1995) plain bearing Stalker 35, 40, 42 and 46 silencers are a perfect fit.
I am planning to use a tongue in a future, there is other OS engine with the same space between screws?
Thanks very much from Spain.
Manuel.

If it fits those Stalker silencers, then probably anything that fits those engines will fit yours.
I'm curious how it was done -- could you post a picture?

you just drill thru the holes in the inside edges of the exhaust and out the back side of the case, you can then use tube or tongue mufflers putting them on from the back of the motor
It is 1.25 span and is the same as the NEW OS LA 25 and the ST 34
some other engines take the same size
some OS 35 S have the holes inside the exhaust drilled and tapped, other have just a block of metal there that you can drill, same for the OS 30 S

I am unable to send potos as the engine is in a friendīs shop, but Randy has explained perfectly the process.
Regards from Spain.

By the way, we have checked that tighting excessively the silencer distorts slightly the case, as with the strap.
