EVO 60 Engine
« on: May 30, 2014, 05:14:01 AM »

Is anyone running this engine, and how do you like it, any changes or is it stock?

Sure would like to hear some reports on it..         Thanks a lot...

Not sure I should even reply here but there is quite a bit on it (including my setup) that can be found thru the search function. Most who have tried them like them. The Massey Bros have great runs with their stock setups. Mine has a hemi-head by Byron Barker and I like it a lot. Small venturi (they come with two), Regular R/C fuel (not GMA-they don't like castor), 12 to 13" prop (I us an RSM 12x5.5, Youtube video features a Bolly 13x4.25) and around 7800-8800 launch rpm. About 5.5 ounces to get thru the pattern. Not a high RPM engine like the Evo .36 they will run a 4x2 break and can haul around 60-70 ounce plane with authority.  8)
