OS FP 35 Venturi size
« on: July 02, 2014, 04:25:04 PM »
A friend asked me if I could make him a venturi for an OS 35 FP.

I said "sure!".

It has a stock OS needle.  I was planning on making one at whatever size the consensus here seemed to call out, and one that's 1/64" bigger, so he can mess around with what he likes best.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Suction or muffler.  He'll want it for sport/stunt flying.

I'd say .265". Can always be drilled out later, but can also be 'reduced' with a layer or two of nylon mesh from a pair of pantyhose. I wouldn't bother to make two, unless you already made the offer.  D>K Steve
