what would be a good size venturi to start out with an OS-F45
it now has a .279 with a S/T .153od spreybare

A os SF 45 S ? .
Put a bleedy great 8 mm ole in mine . great on a 12 x 6 . 4-2-4 . ten ton airyplane . 5 gallons per flight . WELL 6 ounces, anyway . but whadaya expect with 84 ounces . :-X :-[
Found the ' cutting was the ' almost serviceable ' bearings Id thrown in to see if it worked , could no longer said to be almost , are rather ' were ' . Fine engine .
seemed gutless & indeciseve set up otherwise . Till I used 15 % nitro , to learn it . Previously 280 & 312 in a 60 Oz Magnum . No guts & indecisve on 4 & 5 in pitch tryn for 4-2 ish run .then.

Oh well . go & change things. Then .
The FSR abc with the .312 intake , 10 % nitro . 12 x 4 bolly . Pretty good .Same Ship , case & rod reversed , Exhaust outboard .
Magnum muffler gave uneven setting , uprigt / inverted .
THE TANK on the FSR needs to be 1/8 inch LOW . or your D O O M E D on outsides , in the wind .
Gota nuther FSR 45 Ringed ready to go , now . And a few 40s .
Incidently a HP 40 rod , upward , all will fall in a 45 FSR case , & V.c.V. . Wether thatd WORK is another thing , tho .
Gotta Trya ' Hemi ' head ( full Hemi ) on the FSR yet .Spectrum - Jim Casale , was a FSR 45 Man . And Baron . At One Stage .

wont mudify . 12 x 4 THREE BLADE .
most ran thhe C.S.C. toungue muffler .,280 /290 in a 55 ounce plane, maybe. muffler type would influance diameter .
Some tried 13 x 6 props, this'd influance it too . :P
