Hi Randy, I gather the 46 VF I sent you to have new bearings and the ABC piston and liner installed will need to be broken in again. What would the best way to do this? Thanks

Use fuel with 20% oil, mostly synthetic, 75-25 or so, Run it with a 11 x 4 prop, run the fastest 4 cycle it will run in, then turn the needle just into a 2 cycle for 10 seconds at a time. rotate back and forth between the 2 setting, I would run 4 ounces at a time, and try to use 1/2 gallon of fuel. When you decide to run it in a plane, use a 12 to 12 1/4 x 4 to 4.25 prop 2 blade or 11.5 to 12 inch 3 blade with about 4.5 pitch. We burned about 5.5 to 6 ounces of fuel piped, and a little less run on a muffler, Use a hot glow plug, like a Glow Devil 300, big bore hot, etc

Thanks Randy. I have 11/ 4 two blade wood and 12 4.25 three blade carbon props. I have a 6oz uniflow tank and Merlin Glo plugs. Is the merlin plug good? It wil be on a pipe.

The Merlin 2004 and 2005 are good for this engine, i would break in with the 11 x 4 2 blade
