Enya 25 and 30's
« on: February 03, 2008, 01:00:20 AM »
Has anyone been running Enya 25's or 30's. I was wondering if either one will run with a 2-4 break. I just got a new 25 and am curious about their perfomance.

Leo,
I've run the 30 and i'm not sure that I'd run it in a 4/2/4. Mine does very well in a wet 2. I have 2 of the 25's but haven't had a chance to try them yet.
The real sleeper is the Enya SS35BB. It is built on the 25 case and is really light for it's size. Just got mine from Randy Smith and have high hope of getting this into use this year.

Thanks Dennis. My Enya 40 seem to work good with a fast 4 cycle or a wet 2 cycle. The weather has been so lousey here i have not had a chance to bench run these engines, I also have series 5224 29 and 35. Just got to get these engines run before the shinning. ~~> ~~> ~~> ~~> ~~> ~~> %^ HB~>

Can't speak for the 25 or 30 (have a 30 in a box still, waiting for an airframe) but my modern Enya 40 (SSPL)  breaks nicely.

I can't recall the crankcase number (it's at home, I'm in work), but last time I had it running I was fascinated by the break. Not as dramatic as a Super Tigre on song, but still music to my ears.
