Yes they make good stunt motors setup correctly ,  I have most all parts for them  The  PA  NVA  is  the  BEST  but I also have  real OS  FSR  NVAs

Theres that  there 40 FSR - S . ( W/C Numero Uno , in the Genisis  back then )

Jim Casale & others ran them , around 1980 . Usually with a toungue muffler .
When my copy of Bob's Toungue fell off , it seemed a lot quieter .  ;D :o :o

Most seem to have used say a 12 x 6 ( or 13 , maybe trimmed  )
Find my clone ( magnum ) happy on a 12 x 4 Bolly 3 blade .

Bob Baron ran a 45 FSR in a L J Patternmaster . 63 span - 630 Sq In . ( Jose Modesto info . )

A  lot say more powerfull than ST 60 , but dont ' back off ' downhill . Tho some say that of the ST 60 . Fine Pitch seems the go , there .
CASE is reversable . for Exhaust outer side . turn the liner & piston 180 degrees , and pull rod , clean pin , refit so the chamfer still goes
against the crank web / pin radius .
FUEL TANK wants to be 1/8 inch LOW , to get even run , insides & outsides , upright  & inverted . Can have it so it'll speed a tick on outsides though , for better tension . Back Then .
IF YOU DONT , Itll SPEED UP .  DONT use a Small Bore tank feed pipe EITHER . Wants 2 mm bore .

Theres a ABC ( normally the chrome - nickle is shot ) and a Ringed . So Use GOOD FUEL . Nelson once did P/L set ups , for the 40 S at least .
Chromed Bore - Dykes Ringed , I think .

 :P
Venturie interchangeable with the olde max 40 - S .
