Hi All,
On the older OS .35S engines the muffler mounts are threaded bosses in the ends of the exhaust stack. I have a few Jetstream mufflers which attach this way. I need to know the thread and length of the mounting bolts.
Thanks!

Bill, from this post http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?topic=34488.0 the bolts to hold your muffler on retaining original tapped holes in engine exhaust stack is:
Edit for actual info measured from muffler.
Muffler thickness = 5mm
Extension = 14mm
Tapped hole recessed 12mm into exhaust stack
Tapped hole M2.6 x 0.45 x 5+mm deep
Bolt should be M2.6 x 0.45 pitch x 36 long
Earlier I posted a length of 41 mm long due to another poster giving 1 5/8" long.

How long do they have to be?
Micro Fasateners lists M2.6 x 6, 8 and 12mm long.

Hi Geoff,
According to Herbie, they need to be 36mm long.
