Title: os 32 with tuned pipe
Post by: Richard Lotspeich on May 27, 2018, 06:25:07 PM
Hi Randy
i have an OS 32 that I used to run with a tuned pipe many years ago. I don't have the same pipe setup anymore, I wanted to try and pipe it again, but don't know where to start as far as length of pipe. Can you give me a starting point?
Thanks

What prop are you going to  use? most use a  11 x 4  or  10.5 x 4  ,  If your  using that setup you would  start at about 17.5 nches from plug to  first baffle. Then you can give me  RPM info and  how it  acts  n the maneuvers

Randy, Would an 11x4 prop be good on an O S 32 without a pipe also, or does it need the pipe?

Yes  the  11 x 4  is  good for  many stuntships running that motor
