Title: OS .20FP venturi in OS .46LA
Post by: Bill Little on July 30, 2015, 04:45:23 PM
Need a guideline of fuel consumption using the .20FP venturi in the .46LA.  I know it does cut the power a bit, but that will not be a problem.  What I would like to know is a guideline as to how much fuel is being used with the small venturi.  List what amount you use and what % nitro, etc..  Any other material pertaining to the set up will be appreciated!

Thanks!'
Bill

Bill
contact Pat Johnston, he used or uses a small venturi in his LA 46 setups,, I think its .272 or smaller maybe
I seem to recall him using like 3 ounces for the pattern.
I am not positive, but I think he was spinning the 12.25 x 3.75 apc at around 9800

Bill,

Part # 22312000 at "Tower" is 6MM and is for the LA 25. Works great in the 46. The LA 46 comes with a 7MM venture.

I also use the #762 muffler with the small exhaust and my engines use about 3 OZ's for the pattern (10/22) and an 11 X 4 wood prop.

Quiet and smooth!

Good luck, Jerry
