Hey guys,
Do any of you remember a review in Stunt News some time back (maybe years) on the MVVS 40 rear exhaust/piped stunt engine?
Any body have experience with this engine?
Thanks,
Jim

Aren't you talking about the M.V.V.S. .49 ?? Real strong well made stunt engine but a bit heavy . Available from Just Engines in England or Alberto Parra in the Canary Islands -Spain. See their add in every Stunt News . Keith Varley

No, not the 49--I have several of those. This is a 6.5cc, front induction/rear exhaust with what looks to be a 4 or 5 mm. venturi with Super Tiger type needle valve located at the back of the venturi--no spraybar.
Just wondering if I could find any info on it--like all MVVS engines I have seen, it is very well finished/fitted.

Hello all.
Dereck Pickard made a review of the MVVS 40 RE with tuned pipe and I remember he was highly satisfied with the way the motor ran.
The test was made aprox in 1995.
Hope it helps
Regards.

Manuel,
Thanks for the info. Any idea where I could find the review?

Derek Pickard had comments about a never to be produced FI RE .51 MVVS in Stunt News, Dec of 1994 and a review of an MVVS FI RE .40 in the May/Jun copy of Stunt News of 1995. If you can't find it over there I could scan it and send it to you.

Thanks Charlie. I will check with some of my friends who have been Pampa members for a while.
