Should I use the same fuel in an old 70's os max .35 as a fox .35? Thanks John

At least 25% all castor, if that's what you're already using in the Fox 35.

I use 29% castor fuel in my Max 35-S and it runs fine. At first I had problems getting it to run through a full tank but switching to an RC style pluf (Fox RC Long) turned it into a nice reliable engine.

cheers,
Ken

Hi John

Depends on if it is new or used  , and  what fuel it has been run on. I  would suggest reading this
http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?topic=4037.0

I have FOX 35s  and  OS 35S  engines that are mine personally  ran on 25% synth/castor blend  and  are still very good engines that have a very small amount of wear, many 100s of flights ,and  are NOT  burned black with baked-on castor.

Regards
Randy

Hello all.
Randy, are you refering to lapped pistons or ABC aftermarket units?
Thanks in advance.
Manuel.

I am refering to the stock  Lapped  iron steel  setup
Do you have  an aftermarket ABC in this engine?
