Post by: Bootlegger on September 23, 2018, 11:27:15 AM

What size venture do I use on this engine, and what needle assembly will work best ?   Thanks

Anything off an OS Max-S .35 will fit. They are a little shorter that the FP-LA stuff, and standard OS NVAs will work.  Jim Lee or Randy Smith should be able to fix you up with what you need.
  Type at you later,

We were flying Charles Fata's P40 with an OS30S today. It's a dang nice running engine.

Sacre Bleu, I found a venture in my O S 30 "goodies" so now the next project is how to drill the case and mount a tongue muffler?  Suggestions ??

Oh, Sacre Bleu is French for something like WOW!!!

'Legger,

My reply apparently got lost in the ether last night....

Shorter version: I have two. Both have P/L that are pretty worn. They both use a .257 nylon venturi and .135 OS needle. Both run steady as a clock on 10/28 castor fuel. Classic runs.

Good luck with yours,

Divot McSlow
