As a kid, I went right from .049's to an O.S. 20, so I have zero experience with anything in between.. I'm just finishing a Flying Clown and have a nice O.S. Pet .099 complete with muffler I like to use on it. Any ideas on what size tank to get a 5-7 minuet run? Also, how much prop will it spin? I'm guessing something like a 7-4.

I believe mine liked an 8-4 best, but that was a lo-n-n-g time ago. Around an ounce and a half on the tank; this engine wasn't too thirsty. Or just use a 2 oz. tank and short-fill as necessary.

If you have one of the earlier versions, baldy or finned head, 3 bolt backplate, they wern't known as a powerhouse. They could also be cantankerous in starting. The last version looked just like an OS 10. I never owned one of those so can't comment. Either way you shoulden't get into trouble using it.
