Title: NVA

I have a fox 25 and was wondering where exactly the hole in the needle valve should point. Some engines have it facing straight down, others have it facing forward. Which way is correct Thanks John

Pretty well straight down toward the crankshaft or parallel to the air flow down the venturi.  It is not really critical as long as it is somewhat close to downward toward the crank shaft.

Turn the spraybar untill you can see the hole.  Then turn toward the front until you can no longer see the hole when looking straight down.  Think of a perfume atomizer and how it works.
