Stock shim for ST 46
« on: October 30, 2006, 06:37:33 AM »
Hello all.
I´ve some G21 46, but as all have been used (or abused  ~^), don´t know exactly the stock shim used in the 46´s.
If some person knows it, will be apreciated.
Regards.
Manuel.

I have seen some new never run motors with .010 and some with .020 Not two .010 's but a single .020 gasket. I think .010 is the norm.

HI Manuel

You can use  between  10 to 30 thou.  depends on which version and  what head it has on it.  I would start  with 15 to 20  thou , with teh squish head,  and  just go from there
