Title: Needle Setting on Fox .35 Stunt using ST NVA
Post by: David Ruff on April 26, 2015, 06:02:08 AM
Installed the ST .51 NVA in a Fox .35 Stunt.  Just wondering how many turns open I should start with.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Dave:

Bring it to Hampden today after 14:00 for help or you may try 3-4 turns open and play it by ear.

Dave - I have tried that setup and had problems.
The ST spray bar is a larger diameter than the Fox and will restrict your intake.
Turn down the spray bar to .125 where it crosses the venturi.
Or, buy one from Randy Smith.

could you drill the venturi instead?  and what size drill bit would that be?

if u drill the venturi all the way through u will change the crank timing and it wont run the same ,Randys needle assby works great
if u have a drill press u can chuck the spray bar up and file it down on the part that is actually in the venturi. go slow and suport it while u file
