Randy,
Do I need a gasket between the motor and header on the PA 61 pipe set up (hope this isn't a question that makes you start hitting your head on the wall)?
Thanks,
James

Hi James
Many people do not use any gaskets with good results, the surfaces have extremely smooth surfaces so they can get away with it. That said what I use, and what I recommend is to use metal duct tape, this is very thin aluminum type tape that has a paper backing and is sticky on one side, It is very very easy to just stick a piece on the header, trimmimg it out with an Exacto and bolting it up to the motor.
Others use a very thin coating of any of the colored silicone sealant. Hope this helps
Regards

Hi James
You can get tape at any aircondition/heating supply store, and maybe ACE hardware, or Home depot

It is also used for auto body work. Look near the Bondo at the auto store.
