This looks like it would be a RUNNING engine, not a static model. If so, do you know if there is video of it being fired up? I have seen a video of a RR Merlin at about 1/4 scale that runs, so this is at least possible. Even if it is just static, it is incredible indeed.

Well, well...this goes WAAAAAAY beyond anyone's imagination. It's almost surreal...
Even the frase "A Work of Art" is an understatement.

Here you can see Mr. Barrington Hares's Rolls Royce "Merlin" in action:

Been searching for videos of the "RR Eagle" with no luck. If someone find something, PLEASE post it.

Thanks for posting this, Bob.

Regards,
Claudio.

Maybe I'm the only one? If you want to put this sort of stuff in the main forum, that's fine, but it has nothing (at all) to do with the "Engine setup tips" that this forum is supposed to be all about.

Both little bitty parts and great big parts are a hassle to make. I did both of these on a Bridgeport EZ Trak. The big rings were too big to do on our largest CNC mill, so it fell on me to figure out how to do them on the 'Trak. It took some smoke and mirrors to git er done.  LL~ Steve
