McCoy .29
« on: September 24, 2010, 01:49:43 PM »
I have been given an old McCoy .29.  I think it is the stunt version.  It is all natural color including the head.  The NVA was missing so I put in a ST NVA I had laying around.  Fueled it up with Sig 10-25 all castor.  APC 9-4 prop.  Fired it up and read about 8400 on the tach at a rich 2 stroke.  Am I in the right ball park?  Should I change anything, ie prop/fuel?
Any suggestions as to what to put it in or should it be left on the shelf as a conversion piece?
It's only paranoia if they aren't really after you.
