Hi guys,
Has anyone played with this engine?? I believe its a clone to the famous OS45FSR, does it hold up as well as the OS?? Will the engine part interchange, between the OS and Magnum?? I really like the OS running on pipe, its a real winner. I'm not sure if you can get parts for the OS FSR, maybe Randy would have some parts?? The OS FSR works out great for a profile plane, lot of power and it seems to be like a old timex watch, takes a beating and keeps ticking??? I would appreciate any input on the Magnum/Pro 45 FSR Engine. I noticed on tower hobby that this engine is still being made, not sure if its the same as the older Magnum Engine but maybe its still timed the same???

Yep it is a great engine I setup retimed and B&B about 100 of these engines, They make very good stunt engines and they are powerful and run very well.
There was also a 40 and a 46 version of this FSR clone

The engine seems to be very well made. It has a sprinkler type venturie in her and I wonder if this unit will work well with her?? Another question, Randy said he has retimed these engines, does she need work before I play with her?? Randy do you still work on these engines?? I was planning on running her the way I do the OS 40 FSR on a pipe, will she work the same as the OS 40 FSR. After my success with the OS 40 FSR on pipe, its hard to change back to running a engine without pipe. I fired up my new OS 40 VF on a pipe system and man is she ever sweet. Better than a timex, she just takes a beating and keeps ticking. The FSR style units works out very nice for profile type planes and I'm using the VF type for build ups, not sure which type has the most power but I believe that they're close. I appreciate any input about the Magnum/Pro 45 FSR ABC Engine.

If you want to run it on a pipe and it has been converted to CL already, you should be set, use the 50 size CF pipe
