Title: Magnum Pro SE replacement Piston and Liner
Post by: Lane Puckett on November 09, 2009, 03:26:47 PM
I'm looking to replace two piston and liners for a couple of Magnum Pro SE's I have.  They are the 36's.  I don't seem to be able to purchase new ones but can find the Magnum XL/XLS.

I posted a question on their web forum with no results so far.

Does anyone know where to get replacement Magnum Pro SE 36 piston and liners?
Are the Magnum XL/XLS piston and liners for the 36 the same?
Will the Thunder Tiger Pro 36 piston and liners work as a drop in replacement?

Thank you,
Lane

Hi lane

Yes I can get them for you and the Thunder Tiger 36 liners will work, there has been a very small machining difference but Thunder Tiger made both of those engines

Lane,

While you're at it, why don't you let Randy build you AERO TIGERS?

It would be tempting but they are going to see duty as speed limit combat motors that will see their fair share of turf.  The idea is to just get them together as cheap as possible with good parts.  Turning them into AERO Tigers becomes huge overkill and in fact if spending that kind of money then a Brodak 25 is a better investment due to the super light weight with adequate power.
